Tour Itinerary:

Day 1  USA-Beijing
You take the transpacific flight to Beijng.

Day 2  Beijing (L)
Upon arrival, you are met and escorted to the hotel.
  
Day 3  Beijing (B, L)
You are off to tour Tiananmen Square and the Imperial Palace in the Forbidden City, including the jewelry section. Then you tour the exquisite Summer Palace with its ornate architecture and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Kunming (weather permitting).
   
Day 4  Beijing (B, L)
Today, you walk on the ancient ramparts of the astonishing Great Wall. Then you visit a cloisonné factory and see artisans at work. Later, you stroll along the Sacred Way, guarded by statues, to the Ming Tombs and Chang Ling Exhibition Hall.
  
Day 5  Beijing-Xi'an (B, L)
In the morning you are at leisure before flying to historic Xi'an.
 
Day 6  Xi'an (B, L)
Today's sightseeing includes a visit to the life-sized terra-cotta legion of warriors, no two alike, the Circle Vision Movie, Bronze Chariot and Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum.
  
Day 7  Xi'an-Chongqing (B, L)
After your morning fly to Chongqing, you visit the Stilwell Museum and view World War II memorabilia before boarding your cruise ship to begin your memorable cruise on the Yangtze River.
  
Day 8  Yangtze River Cruise: Shibaozhai  (B, L,D)
You visit the magnificent 12-story wooden pagoda at scenic Shibaozhai today, Known as the “Pearl of the Yangtze,”
You may attend alternate shore excursion of Fengdu or Wanzhou.
 
Day 9  Yangtze River Cruise: Qutang Gorge-Wu Gorge-Small Gorges Excursion/Shennong Stream-Xiling Gorge (B, L,D)
You cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge hemmed by towering cliffs and sail on through Wu Gorge, known for its lofty Twelve Peaks. At Wushan, you cruise up the Daning River via cruiser to view the famous Small Gorges. Then you continue by sampan to the picturesque mini-gorges of the Ma Du River with its clear, swift running water, unusual rock formations, and monkeys and goats along the banks. Alternatively, your excursion may be on Shennong Stream with its dramatic gorges. Next, you pass through the last and most scenic of the major gorges, Xiling Gorge and then through the Three Gorges ship lock.
  
Day 10  Yangtze River Cruise: Xiling Gorge-San Dou Ping-Yichang-Shanghai (B, L,D)
At San Dou Ping, you see the amazing Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric project. Then you continue on to Yichang where you board your flight to Shanghai, China's center of commerce.
If direct flight is not available, you travel by motor coach to Wuhan and fly to Shanghai.
    
Day 11  Shanghai (B, L)
You start your memorable tour of Shanghai by seeing the treasured collections at the Shanghai Museum, the lovely Yu Garden, the famous Shanghai carpet factory, the Bund, the traditional shops of Nanjing Road or the modern shops of Huai Hai Road followed by a visit to the Children's Palace. This evening, you enjoy an astonishing acrobatic show.
   
Day 12  Shanghai-Hangzhou (B, L)
In the morning you are at leisure in Shanghai. Then you take motorcoach to scenic Hangzhou.
You travel to Hangzhou by train if group is less than 6 tour members.
   
Day 13  Hangzhou (B, L)
You take a boat ride on lovely Inner West Lake, then visit Hua Gang Park and Huqingyu Pharmacy, a Tang museum of Chinese medicine. Next you tour remarkable 4th century Ling Yin Monastery, and go on to visit the Tea Production Brigade.
 
Day 14  Hangzhou-Guilin (B, L)
In the morning you are at leisure before flying to Guilin. Upon arrival, you visit Reed Flute Cave and Fu Bo Hill's dramatic rock formations.
   
Day 15  Guilin (B, L)
Today you cruise along the Li River, with lunch served aboard ship, revealing the haunting beauty of Guilin's misty peaks surrounding the river en route to Yangshuo.
 
Day 16  Guilin-Guangzhou-Hong Kong (B, L)
You have a change of pace today as you fly to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, you enjoy a tour of Chen Clan Temple and Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall followed by a dim sum lunch. Then you transfer by train to Hong Kong.
    
Day 17  Hong Kong (B, L)
You tour Hong Kong Island including Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and Aberdeen's floating community. Then you are drived up to Victoria Peak to view a spectacular panorama of the city and harbor.
  
Day 18  Hong Kong (B, L) 
During the whole day you are at leisure to shop or explore on your own.
   
Day 19  Hong Kong-USA (B)
You will be transferred to the airport and take the flight to home.
