This is indeed a cover-all itinerary which includes the country's major natural and historic wonders. It is a chance to update your knowledge of China with ancient civilization. Taking the upstream cruise will have one relaxation on the elegant cruise ship. Get a glimpse of totally different cultures and languages around China and experience the friendly people.
Tour  Itinerary:
Day 1 USA-Beijing
Depart USA to China.

Day 2  Beijing (L)
The flight arrives at Beijing , you are met by our tour guide and to be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)
In the morning, you take a half-day excursion to explore the incredible Forbidden City with its grand palaces and courtyards. Built in 1420, it was here that 24 emperors lived and ruled for over 500 years. The South Gate leads you to Tian'anmen Square - the biggest of its kind in the world. In the afternoon, you  explore the beautiful Summer Palace where you can discover gardens, palaces and pavilions with temples and halls in a tranquil, landscaped lakeside setting.

Day 4 Beijing (B, L)
In the morning, you will take a half-day guided visit to the awesome Great Wall of China. Here you can enjoy the stunning views as you stroll along this seemingly endless piece of history, which winds its way into the far distance. In the afternoon, you continue to the Ming Tomb, which took over 200 years to complete and walk along the Sacred Way, which means the road leading to heaven.

Day 5 Beijing-Naniing (B, L)
In the morning, you explore the Temple of Heaven which itself has become a symbol of the city. Here ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest. In the afternoon, you are transferred to take the flight to Nanjing, situated on the formidable Yangtze River, and the former Chinese capital with its attractive tree-lined boulevards. You are transferred to the hotel.

Day 6 Nanjing (B, L)
In the morning, your sightseeing is the Mausoleum of Sun Yat Sen, China's founding father, which sets amidst the picturesque Purple Mountains. In the afternoon, you have a visit to the Yangtze River Bridge - an incredible feat of Chinese engineering and the Confucius area.

Day 7 Nanjing-Suzhou (B, L)
You are transferred and take the morning express train to Suzhou, a lovely garden city, which has inspired many Chinese painters over the years. City tour begins with visiting the Humble Administrator's Garden, which is followed by a trip to Silk Reeling Factory. In the afternoon, you will go to the Tiger Hill where you can climb the hill and find a number of historical sites, which can be traced back to the founding of Suzhou.

Day 8 Suzhou-Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning, you are transferred to the rail station and take the train to Shanghai. In the afternoon, you are met and pass through the old town and take a walk along the famous waterfront to fully appreciate this diverse city.

Day 9 Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning, you visit the Shanghai Museum with its collection of ancient Chinese Art of bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy. In the afternoon, you
continue the Yu Garden, which has over 30 pavilions, linked by a maze of corridors and bridges. In the evening, you enjoy an acrobatic show.

Day 10 Shanghai-Hangzhou (B, L)
In the morning, you are transferred to take the train to Hangzhou where sightseeing focuses on the gardens, lakes and terrific islands. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda, which is definitely a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture. Afterwards you will have a short cruise on the scenic West Lake.

Day 11 Hangzhou-Wuhan (B, L)
In the morning, you visit the Lingyin Temple –the biggest Buddhist Temple in the southern China and tea farm. In the afternoon, you are transferred to take the filght to Wuhan.

Day 12 Wuhan-Yichang (B, L)
In the morning, you visit the Wuhan Museum which has collected over 200,000 cultural relics, including pottery, porcelains, jade, bronze vessels, ancient weapons, and ancient musical instruments. In the afternoon, you take the private car to Yichang. On arrival you will be transferred to the port at Yichang where you will board the cruiser ship.

Day 13  Yangtze River (B, L,D)
The cruise ship will depart this morning. You pass the east part of Xiling Gorge, which is famous for its strangely shaped cliff faces. In the afternoon you enjoy a Shore excursion at the Three Gorges Dam Project, one of the largest construction project ever undertaken. It will forever change the face of the Yangtze River.

Day 14  Yangtze River (B, L,D)
You pass through the west part of Xiling Gorges this morning and enjoy a shore excursion at Shennong Stream. Then you pass through Wu Gorge, home of the twelve peaks of the Wu Mountains, and experience a meandering landscape of dazzling peaks and rocks. This afternoon pass through Qutang Gorge, which finds the river carving its wag between sheer precipices of overhanging mountains on both sides.

Day 15  Yangtze River (B, L,D)
In the mornign you enjoy a shore excursion to Shibanzhai - a gem of Chinese architecture. This wood red pavilion, 11 storey high was built against a protruding 220-meter rectangular rock with sheer cliffs on the north bank.

Day 16 Chongqing to Xi'an (B, L)
In the morning, the cruise ship will arrive into Chongqing port at approximately 9am. After disembarkation you visit the ancient village of Ci Qi Kou (Porcelain Village) situated on the bank of the Jia Ling River. Then, you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Xi'an, one of China's ancient capitals. In the afternoon, you visit the Ancient City Wall, which is well-preserved and still compasses the center of Xi'an before checking in at the hotel.

Day 17 Xi'an (B, L)
In the morning, you have a full day to visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors where life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the tomb of the first Qin emperor. In the afternoon, you visit the dramatic Wild Goose Pagoda and the Banpo Museum, which is the site of a typical Neolithic matriarchal community dating back about 6,000 years.

Day 18 Xi'an to Guilin (B, L)
In the morning, you are transferred to take the Flight to Guilin – which has the most stunning scenery and the inspiration for many a Chinese artist. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you meet the guide and visit historic Fubo Hill and the Reed Flute Cave- a 790 feet deep dripstone cave which includes myriads of stalactites and stalagmites of dazzling colors.

Day 19 Guilin (B, L)
You take a scenic river cruise along the Li River with its peaceful senerity and jagged limestone peaks. Lunch is included on board before arriving at Yangshuo where you have free time to explore and peruse the local shops and markets. Later, you continue to take the private vehicle back to Guilin.

Day 20 Guilin-Guangzhou-USA (B)
You are transferred to the airport for the flight to Guangzhou where you will connect with your international flight to the USA.
